ABOUT US

Foundations that

grow with them.

OUR APPROACH

Five children kneeling on the floor in a classroom, with their heads bowed and hands clasped as if praying, a girl with red hair and a rainbow headband looks distressed.

Built on Love.
Rooted in
Faith.
Focused on
Growth.

At St. Philip Lutheran Preschool, we believe every child is a gift—curious, creative, and full of potential. Our half-day program nurtures the whole child: mind, body, and heart. We blend art, music, play, and early academics with kindness and faith, creating a joyful foundation that lasts a lifetime.

We help children grow through hands-on experiences, gentle guidance, and a loving Christian environment. Every classroom is a space where kids feel safe, celebrated, and free to explore who they are.

More than preschool, it’s a community.

  • Cute purple slime with a happy face and closed eyes.

    Christ-centered foundation

We start each week with Chapel and weave love, kindness, and grace into daily routines—in ways that feel natural, not forced.

  • A smiling, cartoon-style face with rosy cheeks and closed eyes.

    Experienced, dedicated teachers

All lead teachers are certified in Early Childhood or Elementary Ed—and many have been part of the St. Philip family for over 15 years.

  • Cute, cartoon-style blue blueberry with a happy face and a small stem.

    Small class sizes

With low teacher-to-child ratios (as low as 1:5), our classrooms are calm, connected, and full of individual attention.

  • A cartoon orange character with a playful face, sticking out its tongue and winking, with black hair on top.

    Parent involvement

From field trips to classroom volunteers, we welcome parents as part of the preschool experience—and the community.

Our goal is simple: to help each child feel confident, capable, and deeply cared for.

OUR CURRICULUM

Learning through play, growing through love.

We know that children learn best through doing—exploring, building, imagining, asking, and connecting. Our play-based curriculum is designed to meet each child where they are, recognizing that every learner is unique.

We create multi-sensory experiences that support growth in every area:

  • Spiritual: understanding God’s love and grace

  • Social & Emotional: developing friendships and empathy

  • Academic: introducing foundational skills in reading, math, and language

  • Physical: engaging movement, fine motor play, and outdoor exploration
